JT's School Performance

This is John Tanner and his friend Lexi. They were both indians in the 4th grade choir performance. They did a great show about American History and all the kids did a fantastic job and put all their own costumes together. We just love their school and the fun things they program for our kiddos.

Happy Halloween 2011

The kids are so lucky that Papa came to visit the week before Halloween - he carves the BEST pumpkins and did not fail to deliver for his grandkids! Turns out their pumpkin characters selected offset their choice in costumes this year. Thanks Papa for coming to spend time with us and to do something fun for the kids to enjoy.

John Tanner watches as Papa begins his Storm Trooper pumpkin. The details in this artwork were tedious and time consuming - John Tanner is lucky to have Papa do this for him - goodness knows I couldn't do it. It turned out to be really neat and JT loved showing it off.

Danielle's "Cinderella" Pumpkin that Papa carved for her. We had so many comments from neighbors about this pumpkin. Papa did an awesome job and Danielle just loved it!

Our group of neighbor kids ready to head out and surround the neighborhood in search of chocolate and other goodies! From left to right - Parker (Dark Spiderman), Carter (Spiderman), Wyatt (Batman), Leah (Minnie Mouse) John Tanner (Jedi), Danielle (Princess), Lakyn (Alice in Wonderland), Tatum (Little Bo Beep) and Eva Belle (Snow White). We had a great grill out with friends before heading out into the haunted surroundings! The kids had a blast.

Our neighbor Jason and his "salute" to the Occupy Wall Street movement sweeping the country. Best costume this year in my book - hilarious!

John Tanner (Star Wars Jedi) and Danielle (Princess Ariel - minus her long flowing red hair) going Trick or Treating for Halloween 2011.
They racked up with some really good candy and went to more houses than ever before!
