St. Patrick's Day

Danielle and her leprechaun trap. Each child made one in her kindergarten class to hopefully catch the Leprechaun that was to visit their classroom on St. Patrick's Day.  Danielle's pot of gold has a trap door on the top.  We hope he will try to steal some gold coins and fall in her pot.  Her rainbow is made out of plastic Hawaiian leis!  Danielle came home from school to tell us that the Leprechaun destroyed their room, knocking over chairs and messing up their projects and he even pee'd in their toilet because the water was green! Little footprint were everywhere.  He stole several of Danielle's gold coins - but we didn't catch him!

 What is the saying...."Let sleeping demons lie".....Danielle falles asleep on our staircase after throwing a fit and being ignored.  Ah....such a sweetie.
It is moments like this that I recite in my head..."this is everything I ever wanted, this is everything I ever wanted"!!!

Daddy's Lil Princess Ball

Princess Danielle with Daddy, the King of her heart! Pose for their picture at this year's Princess Ball. This has become one of my favorite events to do. We host 3 of these within 3 weeks at 3 different Rec Centers and have 150 girls and their Daddies at each of them!!! Each girl gets a Tiara, a balloon flower corsage and a keepsake photo of them with their daddy. This is one of those happy events where everyone has fun and no one complains about anything. Fun to see people arrive in limos with dads decked out in tuxes and suit and girls in little ball gowns and dresses. So precious. This is Dan and Danielle's 3rd Ball and the first time that Danielle was really into dancing in the middle of the dance floor with her Daddy as much as she could.

Danielle and Daddy slow dance to "My Girl" at the Princess Ball. She had such a fun time dancing with him this year. I hope to post a video of them doing a swing dance - hilarious, he was throwing her all over the place and she was grinning from ear to ear and just cracking up. But this was one of those sweet moments.

Danielle and her classmate Brianna at the Daddy's Lil Princess Ball. We laugh because you would think Brianna's mom and I were best friends and shopped for the girls at the same time - can't tell you how many dresses, coats, shirts and skirts they have that are the same or very similar. My mom got Danielle this dress for Easter last year and Brianna's was very similar.
