This picture of my grandmother, Marian Tanner, was first seen sitting at the front of her church for her memorial service. We brought it home afterwards and set it in the dining room with lots of other family pictures. All of us grandkids were sitting around the dining room table sharing memories and telling funny stories and everytime I'd start laughing and look over at this picture and catch the expression on her face and it was as if she were sitting right there with us enjoying all the memories too. She was so healthy and happy in this picture - a great "last" way to remember her.It was so wonderful to be all together for the first time in a long time to honor her.
