Now usually it is the team in the field that taunts the batter......not this game. I nearly fell over laughing at my ball player today.....John Tanner, who unfortunately has struggled to hit the ball this year due to a recognizable fear of being hit by the ball, took a galant stance tonight. He faced off against an old friend on an opposing team. "Hey Ryder..... pitch it in here - right down the middle! Come on Ryder, bring it".
I thought JT's coach was going to fall over...the look on his face was priceless. JT did get a foul tip off of the pitch, but eventually walked. He loves getting on base!
